A commissioned painting of one of my 'crippled angels'. This one isn't as grotesque as I normally do, as requested, but still a little quirky, I hope.
He's a guardian angel watching over his chosen human
It took me four days with gouache, watercolor and ink. Unlike my usual angels, this one has an affinity for humans, perhaps even a love: like a loyal dog he will protect them until the end.

Wow i love your style! and the use of mediums really give it a gritty feel. I also like that it isnt a pretty fru-fru angel. not enough darker more inhuman ones so this gets my vote. i love also the use of line weight to it really givs it form.
