Spring

Not the right time of year for this but one I've been meaning to do. As part of a previous piece I did, entitled 'Sleep', I wanted to do the four seasons and the four parts of the live sof 'Mother Nature' and 'Pan', an old fairytale I was told as a child. In 'Sleep' (winter), Pan chooses to die with nature, so that she will not be alone. Sleep was also sold in a charity auction this year to raise money for an animal charity.

In this piece, 'Spring', the newly born Nature meets Pan for the first time - a cycle endlessly repeated with each new year.

A little bit cluttered in this one I still enjoyed painting it
